More About Us
1. What New Mexico city do you live in?
We reside in and call Albuquerque the Duke city our home.
2. How did you meet and how long have you been together?
We met while Brion was working overtime. We have been together now for 9 wonderful months.
3. What do you both do for fun in New Mexico?
You could call Brion a donut sampler just like Homer Simpson because he loves to eat donuts on the job too. He is a Police officer. And I am a tooth fairy!! We save teeth at Dr. Wengert’s D.D.S. office where I work as a dental assistant.
4. Tell us about your occupations:
Brion and I enjoy long walks along the Bosque during the warm months of spring, we also like to watch the sunsets and how they illuminate the Sandia Mountains many shades of pink all year long. Its fun getting together with friends and family to enjoy the hot days and cool breeze nights of summer at a baseball game to watch the isotopes play ball. We like to watch movies at Rio Century downtown and have Coldstone ice cream afterwards.
5. What has been your most memorable moment together as a couple?
Our most memorable moment was the second time we saw each other again we met up at the Library and we couldn’t keep our eyes off one another we were goo-goo ga- ga over each other. Brion’s friends were there and they teased us. We had so much fun joking around and we danced all night for the first time.
6. What would you like voters to know about you?
We want the voters to know that we are very down to earth giving people and we both chose careers that help people in their times of distress. And we both love one another so much that words don’t explain the emotions we feel for each other. True love is out there, when you least expect it.
7. What do you look forward to the most during your dream honeymoon in Italy?
Brion’s family is Italian. His mother’s grandparents are from Potenza and his father’s grandparents are from Naples Italy. It would be exciting to see where his family originated and check out the home village. Not only that we think it would be so romantic to ride a gondola in Venice and go through the tunnel of love.
8. Tell us why you deserve to win the $50,000 New Mexico Dream Wedding:
We feel we are living a fairy tale dream and we want to share our love story and hope that we can inspire others to find true love like we have.
